A few months ago we went to the Zoo. While we were there we saw a whole herd of cardboard wrapped Elephants. We thought perhaps they were sculptures to be used in the Zoo.
Well last week the mystery of the Elephant parcels was revealed. It seems they were a herd of fifty Elephants to painted by Australian artists to celebrate
150 years of Melbourne Zoo. The colourful herd has now been placed in different locations around the city of Melbourne. We went on a mini safari today and found a few of them. They will be there for a few more weeks then will be auctioned to raise money for the Zoo. Hopefully we will find a few more before the disappear.
